Comprehensive Site Safety and Structural Enhancements

OVERVIEW
This project, focused on improving site safety, structural integrity, and accessibility. The work involved a series of targeted actions to ensure durability, functionality, and compliance with safety standards.
SCOPE OF WORK
De-vegetation and Perimeter Repairs
- Cleared vegetation around the exterior perimeter.
- Performed minor repairs and enhanced the strength of the existing chain-link fencing.
Concrete and Handrail Installations
- Supplied and installed a 2.4m x 400mm x 400mm concrete extension, providing a foundation for:
– A 10m tubular handrail installation.
– A perimeter handrail with D-returns for edge protection and a safe working area. -
Access Improvements
- Constructed and poured access steps to the concrete slab, ensuring safe entry and exit.
Ladder Replacement in Wet Well
- Safely removed the existing wet well ladder using a bosun’s chair and reciprocating saw.
- Supplied and installed a replacement Techno Cover for the wet well, mounted to accommodate internal asset height and slab thickness.
Control Kiosk Repairs
- Supplied and fitted new kiosk doors.
- Repaired the rear wall of the kiosk and repainted the external surface.
- Applied mastic to seal the joint between the cabinet and the concrete plinth.
OUTCOME
The project delivered a safer, more functional, and aesthetically improved site. Enhancements like the tubular handrails, durable access steps, and newly installed covers and doors ensure long-term usability while meeting high safety standards.This efficient and high-quality delivery demonstrates our capability to handle complex site safety and structural improvement projects.
