An important delivery has arrived at J Frost Civils Ltd, as we join forces with the inspiring charity Andy’s Man Club. New pedestrian and Heras banners carrying their vital message are now being distributed to our teams across sites.

Supporting Andy’s Man Club is something that resonates deeply with us, both personally and within the construction industry we operate in.

For those unfamiliar, Andy’s Man Club is a men’s suicide prevention charity that provides free peer-to-peer support groups across the UK. Their mission is simple but powerful: to create a safe, non-judgemental space where men can talk openly, share experiences, and realise they are not alone.

Every Monday evening, in over 150 locations nationwide, thousands of men come together to share one important message: “It’s okay to talk.”

In construction, an industry where mental health struggles remain sadly prevalent, proactive action has never been more important. By supporting Andy’s Man Club and displaying their message on our sites, we aim to help raise awareness and encourage vital conversations.

Keep an eye out for the banners at our projects. If even one person sees the message and feels encouraged to reach out, then this initiative will have made a real difference.

This is more than a campaign. It’s a conversation, and one that J Frost Civils is proud to share.

Are you an experienced SSSTS Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career? J Frost Civils a growing company known for delivering high quality civils and groundworks services are looking for another member of our team.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to work in partnership with a groundworker to deliver our onsite works whilst maintaining our commitment to health and safety!

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in civil and groundwork projects- water utilities experience preferred
• Knowledge of site safety procedures and regulations
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks
• First aid
• SA022
• Relevant certifications or licenses minimum SSSTS & CSCS
• Full UK driving license
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily operations on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Mentor and supervise team members, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to project activities
• Liaise with project manager

We’re delighted to announce that Connor, a valued member of our team, has signed up to participate in another charity white-collar boxing event! This courageous endeavour combines Connor’s determination with a great cause, showcasing his dedication to making a positive impact both inside and outside of work.

White-collar boxing events are designed to bring together individuals from non-boxing backgrounds to raise funds for important causes, and Connor’s participation is a testament to his commitment to giving back.

“This is a big challenge for me, but it’s also an incredible opportunity to make a difference,” Connor said. “I’m looking forward to pushing myself and raising as much as possible for charity”
