Following on from our completion of Constructionline Gold accreditation, J Frost Civils is pleased to announce the successful renewal of its CHAS Advanced (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) accreditation and the completion of the PQS (Safety Schemes in Procurement) verification process. These prestigious certifications reinforce J Frost Civils’ commitment to maintaining the highest health and safety standards across its operations, projects, and procurement processes.

The CHAS Advanced accreditation, recognized throughout the UK, is awarded to companies that demonstrate a robust health and safety management system. With the renewal of this esteemed certification, J Frost Civils continues to demonstrate its dedication to reducing workplace risks, promoting safety, and ensuring compliance with the latest health and safety regulations in civil engineering.

In addition to the CHAS Advanced renewal, J Frost Civils has also successfully obtained PQS verification. We will shortly be bidding a fond farewell to a cornerstone of our team, Steve Roche, who is retiring to live out his dream in the beautiful countryside of France. As the very first Supervisor at J Frost Civils, Steve has been an integral part of our company’s journey and success.

Steve joined us over a year, bringing with him an unparalleled work ethic, leadership skills, and a knack for inspiring those around him. His contributions have left a lasting legacy, and his guidance has been instrumental in shaping the strong foundation of J Frost Civils.

While we’ll miss Steve’s expertise and humour, we couldn’t be happier for him as he embarks on this exciting new journey.

We’re delighted to announce that Connor, a valued member of our team, has signed up to participate in another charity white-collar boxing event! This courageous endeavour combines Connor’s determination with a great cause, showcasing his dedication to making a positive impact both inside and outside of work.

White-collar boxing events are designed to bring together individuals from non-boxing backgrounds to raise funds for important causes, and Connor’s participation is a testament to his commitment to giving back.

“This is a big challenge for me, but it’s also an incredible opportunity to make a difference,” Connor said. “I’m looking forward to pushing myself and raising as much as possible for charity”

January 2025 marked a major milestone for our company, our first anniversary in business! To celebrate a year of hard work, growth, and success, our team came together for a day of fun, competition and pizza.

We choose to celebrate with an action-packed session at Sittingbourne Battle Kart, where team members showcased their racing skills and competitive spirit in a thrilling and interactive environment. The laughter, camaraderie, and friendly rivalries made for a memorable experience.

We’re pleased to introduce Tom, the newest member of our office team, who joins us as an Administrative Assistant!

Tom brings experience in administrative support and data analysis. Having worked in various fast-paced environments, he has developed his skills in handling day-to-day office tasks, scheduling, and client communication. His expertise in streamlining processes and improving team efficiency will be a valuable asset to our operations.
